In 2005, the first edition of the “Architecture in Transit” proposal — emergency housing built on reused mass-transit buses — won first place in the ARQUIMET competition.
It was the first recognition of a research line the studio has kept active ever since, with further distinctions in 2009 and 2010 and a reactivation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
