Architecture in Transit in Escala Magazine, issue 202

Issue 202 of Escala magazine (2005) published the first version of “Architecture in Transit”, the experimental emergency-housing project that proposes reusing decommissioned mass-transit buses as habitable support units for natural disasters.

The project emerged as a response to two simultaneous problems in Colombia and many developing countries: the renewal of mass-transit bus fleets and the shortage of emergency housing after natural disasters.
