Double-height studio apartments
Atelier 68 rises on a corner of Chapinero, in Bogotá — a dense, well-served district where buses, bike lanes and street commerce pass right by the door. The building answers with the city's own material: an exposed brick facade ordered by tall vertical windows that carry daylight deep into each unit, with planted balconies punctuating the corner.
The unit that gives the project its name is the double-height studio: the bed sits on a mezzanine, freeing the level below for the bathroom, the laundry nook and the cabinetry that merges closet and kitchen, so a compact floor plate works like two. It continues the studio's Atelier line — a sibling of the Cedritos Atelier — developed together with Incol.
What the unit does not contain, the building provides: a double-height lobby with parcel lockers, a gym, a TV room, a games room and a glazed ground floor that opens to the street. The tower holds 284 apartments that share these collective spaces instead of duplicating them behind each door.

The project moved from commercial proposal to a BIM model in Revit, which coordinated permitting and construction. The interiors were drawn with the same discipline as the structure: dedicated lighting plans with LED strips in the ceilings, spotlights in the planters and floor uplights at the entrance, down to the elevation drawing of the lobby's parcel lockers. At Atelier 68 the sketch did not stop at the facade: it reached the hardware.
